Part 13 Israeli Palestinian Conflict

January 2020 United States President Donald Trump Reveals Main Political Part of His Middle East Deal of the Century

On Monday, January 27, 2020 United States President Donald Trump revealed the main political part of his so-called Middle East Deal of the Century. In the previous week there was much greater anticipation that US President Donald Trump would finally soon reveal the main political part of his so-called Deal of the Century when formal invitations were given to leaders of the two main Israeli political parties. These are Benjamin Netanyahu of the Likud Party leading the centre right coalition and Benny Gantz leading the Blue and White party or coalition that is somewhat left of centre. The two leaders had separate one-on-one talks with US President Donald Trump in the White House in Washington DC. Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu talked first with President Trump on Monday and got the revelation of the Peace plan which was aired publicly and I was able to watch live on the internet. Then President Trump talked with and revealed in detail his deal of the century to Blue and White leader Benny Gantz. There was a second meeting with US President Trump and Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday.

Some features of this Deal of the Century Middle East peace deal were to be arranged such that it encouraged the leaders and people of the Palestinian Arabs to be more peaceful and embrace economic development. This would involve the Palestinian Arabs to recognize Israel as a Jewish state and pledge to relate in a peaceful way or to renounce terrorism against Israel. If the Palestinians in the areas designated for them which is about 50% of the West Bank live in peace with Israel and Jews or Israelis in Israel and the West Bank (Judaea and Samaria) for about 4 years and recognize Israel as a Jewish state and refrain from additional building for those 4 years (and under the Deal of the Century the Jews are also supposed to refrain from building in the West Bank) then according to President Trump's Middle East peace deal the US would offer to then start to give investment money for economic development to the Palestinian Arabs in the West Bank or I think Gaza Strip. This would be intended to improve the economic status of Palestinian Arabs in the West Bank and supposed to make them more content with their own status, economy and state and not be overly focused against Israel as a neighbouring and economically prosperous Jewish state. There is also allotted part of the land in the Israeli Negev desert as an area for Palestinian Arab high tech development area according to the map of the US President Donald Trump Deal of the Century. The Americans have pledged up to 50 billion dollars in economic or investment aid to the Palestinian Arabs under this plan and at least the above conditions although I don't know over how many years this American investment money could be spread. Under this plan the Americans have pledged to help, perhaps together with some other western or Arab nations, the Palestinians Arabs to have a high volume tunnel between the Gaza Strip and point in the southern part of the territory allotted to the Palestinian Arabs in the West Bank so they could have freedom of movement between the two areas of Palestinian territories (and so the Jews or others in Israel could still have free movement at surface level between the main part of Israel and the Israeli Negev regions in the south part of Israel). (This tunnel is shown on the Deal of the Century map.)

If the Palestinian Arabs as a people and their leaders recognize Israel as a Jewish state and live in peace with them including some demilitarizing from their current state, especially of Hamas and other terrorist groups in the Gaza Strip, then the US would be willing and both main Israeli leaders Mr. Netanyahu and Mr. Gantz said they would be willing to recognize a Palestinian State as defined in the Deal of the Century (including the above mentioned aspects.) This proposed Palestinian State would have its capital moved from its current location in Ramallah in the West Bank just north of Jerusalem to a location in East Jerusalem but not in the Old City of Jerusalem but just to the east of it but still considered in East Jerusalem. Some of the proposed roads for the Palestinian Arab areas of the West Bank would join onto roads in the neighbouring nation of Jordan through crossings over the Jordan River as shown in the Deal of the Century map. If the leadership and majority of the population of the Palestinian Arabs were willing to abide by the terms of this US led Deal of the Century and be at least mostly (and more than so far) at peace with Israel as a Jewish state the Palestinian Arabs would also be assisted in economic develop by the US and other nations to develop sea ports on the Gaza Strip etc. and a functioning international airport.

Other aspects of the proposed Middle East Deal of the Century by the US Donald Trump government include the provisions that that Israel maintain overall control of all of Jerusalem (including East Jerusalem) and be given full sovereignty over 12 existing substantial Jewish settlements located in the West Bank (or what the Jews call Judeae and Samaria.) Under the Deal of the Century Israel would also be granted sovereignty over a strip of land immediately along the west bank of the Jordan River as a buffer zone for security against any potential overland threat from Muslim nations especially to the East such as Jordan, Iraq and the Persian but mostly Muslim nation of Iran. Such as buffer zone is not just an excessive, hypothetical provision to Israel since Muslim Arab armies did come across the Jordan in either the 1948 or 1967 or maybe 1973 Israeli-Arab wars to attempt to invade and destroy Israel as a Jewish state (and they could try again.) In order to improve Israeli tourism as a Jewish state provision is made in the Deal of the Century for Israel to have control of some key biblical or Old Testament historical locations in the West Bank or Judaea and Samaria to facilitate tourism from Jews and Christians from other nations. These towns (or their ruins) include Shiloh where the Israeli tabernacle and God's presence first was after the Israelites entered the holy land from Egypt with Joshua (Moses' successor), Hebron where there is the Tomb of the Patriarchs and most of their wives(Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Jacob, Rebekah and I believe Leah), that was a city of refuge and where King David started his reign and I think Bethel where Jacob built an altar to God and saw a vision of a ladder to heaven and is said to have wrestled with God and been renamed Israel by God in the Book of Genesis. Israel or the Jews would also be limited in how much they could uproot existing Arab landowners in East Jerusalem and the West Bank starting also almost right away under the terms of this peace deal.

Israel would also gain sovereignty over some of what is called East Jerusalem including all the Old City of Jerusalem that is currently in East Jerusalem and under international views is supposed to be part of a future Palestinian State. However Israel doesn't accept this and views all of Jerusalem as under Israeli control since Israel gained control of it in 1967 when it attacked pre-emptively the Arabs controlling it when Israel was threatened by war attacks by the Arabs on all sides in a co-ordinated campaign (by Egypt, Jordan and Syria and perhaps also other more distant Arab nations such as Iraq.) However under the Trump peace plan the Temple Mount is supposed to be shared by Jews and other non-Muslims such as Christians and Muslims according to the existing status quo arrangement that allows Muslim prayer and worship on the Temple Mount but not armed control and that allows Jewish access there but not prayer or worship. However President Trump also has included in his Middle East peace deal that people of all faiths including Jews and Christians as well as Muslims should be able to pray at the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. There has been some attempts already by officials on behalf of the US government to clarify how this seeming contradiction concerning Jewish or other non-Muslim such as Christian prayer or worship on the Temple Mount should be sorted out. In return for Israel abiding by the terms of this Middle East peace deal some Arab Muslim nations have pledged to more seriously consider how they could establish diplomatic relations with Israel and vice versa. Israel would be allowed to maintain itself as an armed Jewish state but would be expected to allow some autonomy or independence of the Palestinian Arabs in the areas designated as a Palestinian state as long as the leadership and general population of the Palestinian Arabs in those Palestinian state lands are peaceful to Israel and to any Jews still living within or moving legitimately through the designated Palestinian lands.

So far the response to the US Donald Trump led Deal of the Century has been quite mixed at best from different parties. Existing Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas has outright dismissed it saying he has 1000 nos to it and calling it an American conspiracy (against the so-called Palestinian people and future state) and has encoured protests of Palestinian Arabs against it which has happened already. There were also negative reactions by the Islamic terrorist group Hamas and their leaders as well as of some other Islamic terrorist groups that rule or operate in the Gaza Strip. The Conference of Islamic States in a meeting after the Deal of the Century revelation on Januray 27th also came out I believe unanimously against the deal. However I have heard from some well informed people like Bible teacher Joel Rosenberg that more privately some Arabs and even leaders of some Arab nations believe it is a deal they can consider and work with towards a Middle East peace deal with Israel and its Arab neighbours. Spokespeople for the Democratic Party in the United States as well as of the European Union and some of its leading nations like Emmanuel Macron of France have said they don't accept the parts of the Donald Trump Deal of the Century that are not consistent with the traditionally favoured Two State solution of the international community. Especially they don't like the recognition of some Israeli settlements or giving sovereignty along the Jordan River or over some of East Jerusalem they want to give to the Palestinian Arabs as part of a future Palestinian State. Some more nationalist Israelis from Israel proper or the Jewish settlements in the West Bank or East Jerusalem don't like having to wait before Israel gains sovereignty over parts allotted to it in some settlements or the Jordan Valley buffer zone by the United States but want to take possession of these areas immediately and want Israel to have right to all of East Jerusalem and the West Bank. The United Nations also doesn't accept parts of the Trump peace plan that depart from the UN supported Two State solution or Oslo Accords.

Also some Orthodox and some other Jews in Israel and elsewhere and some evangelical or Bible believing Christians including myself don't accept the part of the deal that maintains the status quo on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem including not allowing at least Jewish prayer on the Temple Mount. A significant and growing number of devout Jews before this American led, but with input from some Arab nations like Oman and United Arab Emirates, Deal of the Century was publicly revealed were in a low profile way praying out loud to the true God the God of the Bible (Yahweh (God the Father) but in the fuller Christian and New Testament (and some Old Testament) scriptures includes God the Son or the Son of God Jesus Christ or Y'Shua HaMashiach) and the Holy Spirit of God or God the Holy Spirit One God in Essence but Three in Persons). The Israeli Temple Mount police had observed some of the Jews praying on the Temple Mount but have been accepting the practice as long as the praying Jews (or Christians) don't lay down and prostrate themselves to God while praying or perhaps don't raise their voice while praying out loud in prayer that could still be considered provocations to Muslims who use the Temple Mount. However it remains to be seen how this new Deal of the Century Middle East peace deal will change what is unofficially becoming the new status quo of allowing Jews and non-Muslims to not only visit the Temple Mount but also to pray out loud (in a non provocative way as described above or renews restrictions on Jewish or other non-Muslim audible prayer on the Temple Mount.

As Jewish rights including not only prayer but even more eventual singing to the LORD on the Temple Mount according to Bible prophecy and in the current intention of more committed Jewish or Israeli temple activists is intended to be just a step to the soon coming and eventual building by the Jews or Israelis of their Third Jewish Temple with animal sacrifices to God there with permission of the false Messiah the Antichrist, Beast, Man or Sin or he who confirms a covenant with many for a week (of seven years) Daniel 9:27, Revelation 11:1-2, Isaiah 28 (covenant with death), peace of peace and safety in 1 Thessalonians 5, I encourage the reader to consider this latest peace deal as another sign this false peace deal by the Antichrist is very soon and probably now that much sooner. (Although the Trump deal does still put some restrictions of Jewish religous expression on the Temple Mount it does offer the Jews or Israelites more rights on the Temple Mount than the Two State solution or Oslo Accords and most other previous Middle East peace deals that would give the Muslims under Jordan or the Palestinians and the Islamic Waqf full control of the Temple Mount and likely severe limitation on Jewish or other non-Muslim access there.

Therefore in view of this new US led Middle East Deal of the Century being revealed and that it has been accepted by both main Israeli parties and perhaps by more Arabs or their leaders than are publicly stating so to this point I would encourage the reader,if you haven't already done so, to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ before the soon coming rapture of the Church and beginning of the tribulation on earth through the revelation of the Satanically empowered Anti-Christ world leader. To trust in the Lord Jesus Christ is to admit we are sinners or have disobeyed our Creator God and lived for ourselves to some extent according to His standards in His word the Holy Bible including the New Testament and to some extent the Old TEstament. To trust in the Lord Jesus Christ also includes that after we realize we are sinners in God's sight to admit that in prayer to God through His Son Jesus Christ and receive God through receiving His Son Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Saviour. To receive Jesus as Lord and Saviour includes to acknowledge that He was a Person of the Creator God come down from heaven in the form of a (sinless) man through the virgin birth, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, was buried and rose again from the dead on the 3rd day and then visibly and bodily ascended to heaven and will come again (now very soon). If you have or do soon in this (biblical ) way trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour you will not only have all your sins forgiven, a restored relation to God as one of His spiritually and eternally restored children, be assured of a home in heaven and be part of His Church or called out (of this world system) people but also take part in the rapture or catching up to heaven of the true Church and escape having to be on earth during the 7 year tribulation or 70th week of Daniel. If you have or do as soon as possible before the rapture of the Church and following tribulation trust in Jesus with your heart and will as well as head or intellect you can also look forward to come with Him and all His true Church at the end of the tribulation or 70th week of Daniel from heaven to earth to rule the world with Jesus (and God the Father) and support His judging this ungodly world system and that you won't have to anymore be concerned personally about having to spend eternity in the lake of fire that we all as sinful human beings deserve for our sins. Instead if we trust in Jesus by God's grace we can look forward to spend eternity with Him under His grace as His restored people. Part of the reigning with Jesus of the true Chruch we who trust in Jesus in this age from Pentecost to the Rapture can look forward to is to join with the believing remnant of Israel and the saved of the nations through faith in God through Jesus to join with restored Israel to worship and reign with Jesus in the Millennial or Messianic Kingdom based in Jesus' throne then in Jerusalem when He reigns over all this earth before Jesus with God the Father reigns over the New Earth and New Heavens and New Jerusalem with the true Church, the believing remnant of Israel and the saved of the nations.

June 2019 Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Fails to Confirm Coalition Majority Government in Israel's Knesset Parliament Leading to New Election for September 2019

On the end of Wednesday, May 29th, 2019 the time for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to form a coaliton government with a majority of seats in the Knesset the Israeli Parliament had run out. There are at least two main reasons of disagreement of usual allied and potential coalition partner parties to Prime Minister Netanyahu and his Likud Party. One of these is the issue of including Ultra-orthodox young men in the general draft about after high school of young men and sometimes young women for a year or two in the Israeli armed forces. It has been argued by the Ultra-orthodox Jews that the young men at their religious schools (yeshivas) contribute to Israel's defence against Israel's often adversial non-Jewish neighbouring nations by dedicating their schooling and that part of their lives to learning and applying to their lives and teaching other Israelites the law of God from God's word the Holy Bible for which God will honour them and the nation of Israel for being righteous and dedicated to God. However the still majority more secular portion of the population of Israel doesn't accept this argument and insist that Ultra-orthodox Jews including military draft age Ultra-orthodox or hasidic Israelite Jews who would otherwise study at religious yeshiva schools. There is currently a bill in the Israeli Parliament the Knesset that was recently passed that insists on some quotas for Hasidic or Ultra-orthodox young men to include them in the general draft of young people into the Israeli Army for a couple years' service. As part of this religious/secular division or schism in Israeli society, there is a division between some of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu' potential coalition government partners. This division is especially between the secular Israeli nationalist Yisrael Beytenu or Israel Our Home party led by Avigdor Lieberman who want Hasidic Israelite young men to be well represented in the general Israeli army military draft and the two Hasidic parties Shas and United Torah Judaism representing the Sephardic and Ashkenazi ultra-orthodox or Hasidic Jews of Israel who believe young men in their religious schools or colleges are doing their contribution to Israel's security be learning the Torah or Books of Moses or other parts of the word of God and seeking to learn how to teach other Israelites about them and to follow them and get God's blessing for Israel. The two Hasidic Parties Shas and United Torah Judaism have for the last couple elections been allies or members of Israel Prime Minister Netanyahu and together contribute about 15 Knesset seats. In the last election Yisrael Beytenu secured 5 seats in the Knesset. As a result of this dispute neither of these 3 parties joined Netanyahu's coalition by the time of May 29th deadline leaving him and his secured coalition well short of the 61 seats needed to form a majority government in the 120 seat Israeli parliament the Knesset.

Another main issue that is increasingly divisive and a continuing problem for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in his continuing political career including his recent ultimately unsuccessful efforts to form a coaltion government are his outstanding corruption charges. These charges are basically about disputes about whether he put gifts and their estimated value in his own account or in the account of his office of Prime Minister of Israel that he received from foreign leaders. The other charges are related to claimed favours for better political consideration if he could have better air time on some Israeli television or other broadcast media to promote himself and his Likud Party for political purposes. Both of these matters are hanging over him with the Attorney General of Israel Avichai Mandelblit promising to indict or press charges against Likud leader Netanyahu as soon as possible. There are some members of the Knesset in Netanyahu's own party and I think in some of his coalition partners as well as some government bureaucrats who are loyal to Netanyahu and protecting him from these charges and others especially of his political opponents and some media sources in Israel who insist that he face these charges and that they proceed against him in the Israeli court as soon as possible. This has also led to disagreements of members in the Knesset and other usual coalition partner parties of Netanyahu and how willing they have been to form coalition government centred around Netanyahu as Prime Minister in the Israeli Knesset resulting from the April 2019 election and now that that session of government has fallen in the attempts to form a new coalition for the now upcoming September 2019 Israeli general election. Another contributing factor in this disagreement is the effort of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to pass an Immunity Law that would protect his and some other politicians from current or future charges, such as the ones outstanding against him by the Israeli Attorney General Mandelblit, so such charges would not as easily interfere with the political career of members of the Knesset. I think this would especially be true while Prime Minister Netanyahu while he has the office of Prime Minister is still in office.

In relation to this in early June, after the early 2019 attempted coalition government of Prime Minister Netanyahu fell, Prime Minister Netanyahu and some of his closer political allies refused to accept New Right formerly Jewish Home Party Knesset member Ayelet Shaked as the acting Justice Minister at least until the next election. She had been his Justice Minister at least in the last effective session of the Knesset that ended in April 2019 and has gained a good public regard for her service there. It is quite possible that Knesset member Ayelet Shaked was at least open to letting the charges against Netanyahu proceed by Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit. Adding to this suspicion is the fact that Prime Minister Netanyahu in early June, after the new election for September has been called, appointed fellow Likud Party member and apparently a loyalist to Netanyahu including as one of the Knesset members who strongly defends Netanyahu against the outstanding corruption charges by the Attorney General Mandelblit. The name of this new appointee for Justice Minister is Amir Ohana. The big problem with the appointment of Mr. Ohana to the position of Justice Minister in Israel is that he is not only an openly gay or homosexual Knesset member but is also a homosexual or same-sex rights activist who supports same-sex marriage according to an article: "Israel: Amir Ohana becomes first openly gay minister" on June 6, 2019 in the BBC or British Broadcasting Corporation. This appointment of Mr. Ohana as Justice Minister will likely lead to more problems for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to form a new government in September as Orthodox Jews in his own Likud Party or in religious zionist parties or Ultra-orthodox Jews in the Shas Party or Ultra-orthodox parties that have been allies of Netanyahu could be less supportive of a coalition government with him if he has an active same-sex promoting Justice Minister. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will probably also get less support from social conservatives for him leading a coalition government if he continues to support his newly selected openly homosexual Justice Minister Amir Ohana if Mr. Ohana promotes same-sex rights in Israel for homosexuals and lesbians etc. and if it becomes more apparent a main reason for this selection is Mr. Ohana's loyalty to Mr. Netanyahu to protect him outstanding bribery and fraud charges. This lack of support could also be seen in reduced support from evangelical Christians in United States and other nations such as myself and other evangelical Christians in Canada who on a biblical basis don't support either same-sex lifestyle or activism or political corruption. An example of the faultlines already apparent of how this appointment of Mr. Ohana could be a problem for Mr. Netanyahu to achieve another majority government coalition in September is the recent conflict between Ultr-orthodox or Hasidic Jews and perhaps some Orthodox Jews with the LGBT marchers in the 2019 Gay Pride Parade in Jerusalem.

There are other issues that will be important and that will need to be considered in this new Israeli election campaign including growing world-wide anti-semitism including in Europe and in North America including in Democratic US politician Ilhan Omar and other Democratic politicians in the United States as well in the Muslim world. Also this Israeli election campaign will have Israeli voters and politicians need to consider Israel's security in the border with Gaza from Hamas and on the Golan Heights from Syria or Iran and Russia and Hezbollah etc. Israeli voters and politicians will also need to consider the progress or lack of it of the Israel-Palestinian or wider Arab or Muslim world peace process with either US President Donald Trump's proposed Deal of the Century proposed Israeli Arab peace deal, any Middle East peace deals from the European Union, the United Nations, or positions by Arab nations or others etc. We will have to see what the main issues prove to be for Israeli voters or the public or people of other nations commenting or putting pressure on different issues but the above matters could be some of them. I would also urge the reader if you haven't already done so to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour who died for our sins on the cross and rose from the dead to give us eternal life. If you already have or as soon as possible trust in your heart in Jesus you can also be taken to heaven with the true Church of God's Son Jesus Christ and not be left behind for the worldwide tribulation with the Satanic rule of the Antichrist or Beast out of the Sea and plaguges by God on those left on earth. These events on Israel that need to be considered in this new Israeli election campaign could be leading to a false peace by the Antichrist very soon after the rapture of the Church to start the tribulation as in Daniel 9:27.

April 2019 Incumbent Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Most Likely to Form Next Israeli Coalition Government as Result of 2019 Israel General Election

Writing a day after the most recent Israeli general election, it is clear that it was a very close race between right wing and Likud Party leader Benjamin Netanyahu and so called Blue White centrist party leader Benny Gantz. Mr. Gantz is newer to politics and this was his first run for Israeli Prime Minister although he has been a member of the Israeli Parliament or Knesset quite a lot longer. I believe he was formerly a member of Netanyahu's Likud Party. Mr. Gantz also rose to a high position in the Israeli military of Liutenant General. He does believe in maintaining security for Israel but not on such definite terms as Prime Minister Netanyahu and his more right wing or Zionist supporters or allies. Prime Minister Netanyahu has now been elected for a record length of time as Prime Minister even longer than early Israeli Prime Minister David Ben Gurion who was foundational in establishing modern or restored Israel as a nation. Although the final results seem to give both men and their parties 35 seats, Prime Minister Netanyahu has a better chance to form a government with a coalition representing the majority of MKs or Members of the Knesset (the Israeli Parliament). Prime Minister Netanyahu campaigned on a strong nationistic theme including mentioning his protecting Jewish pilgrims to the Temple Mount and that he would continue to do that and that he would ensure continuing Israeli authority over Jewish settlements in the West Bank (Judea and Samaria) if he was reelected.

However he (Netanyahu) was also helped by some recent American moves in the area such as that US President Donald Trump officially recognized Israeli authority over the disputed Golan Heights in the north of Israel and by the US labelling the elite Republican Guard troops of Iran as a terrorist organization. (Of course Iran has for a long time threatened Israel directly or indirectly through their puppet organizations of Hezbollah and probably Hamas that are Islamic terrorist organizations on Israeli's border. Iran still threatens the very existence of Israel as a Jewish state.)

As a result of these new 2019 elections incumbent Israeli Prime Minister will have the best chance and probably be given the first opportunity to form a coalition government since his party together with other right wing or nationalistic parties have a total of about 65 seats out of a total of 120 while Mr. Gantz would only be able to make a coalition of 55 seats out of his party and other centrist or left wing parties. Mr. Gantz' coalition would probably be closer to 45 seats if the Arab Balad or other Arab parties are not included in his coalition. In any case his centre left coaltion would be short of the 61 majority of seats needed to form a governing coalition in Israel. If, as seems likely, re-elected Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is given first chance to form a governing coaltion for this new term of the Israeli Knesset he has to now start to get confirmation that he can get enough of his potential allied parties and their members to actually be part of his coalition including meet some of their terms for being part of his coalition such as giving the leaders of other parties sufficient cabinet or perhaps committee head or other leading government positions to their liking. The other parties that would probably join Netanyahu's coalition are the Shas, United Torah Judaism, United Right, New Right, Yisrael Beiteinu and probably Hadash-Ta'al parties.

Among other matters that the new Israeli coalition government will probably have to deal with soon after it is formed is the United States conceived and promoted "Deal of the Century" for a proposed wider Middle East peace and economic development deal proposed by the US government under current president Donald Trump. This plan has been kept mostly secret since early in the presidency of president Trump and has been repeatedly delayed for what is claimed to be better circumstances surrounding the time of its disclosure. Most recently US President Trump and his Middle East envoys such as Jared Kushner and Jason Greenblatt have promised to unveil this plan shortly after this Israeli general election. It will be interesting to see if they keep to the schedule now, especially since Prime Minister Netanyahu will probably form the next Israeli coalition government and this was probably the first choice of the Trump administration. This wider peace deal would involve substantial infrastructure and trade opportunities for Arab nations surrounding Israel such as Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and others as well as the Palestinian Authority and Israel. There would be some elements of the Trump government "deal of the century" to get a political peace treaty between Israel and the Palestinian Authority including a sometimes mentioned sharing of the Temple Mount holy site in the Old City of Jerusalem between Jews, Muslims and Christians. It will also be interesting to hear how leaders of other nations or organizations will respond to the probably formation of another coalition government under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with a Israeli or Jewish nationalist leaning.

If Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu does soon form a new Jewish nationalist Israel coalition government and if US President Donald Trump doesn't delay further in revealing the details of his "Deal of the Century" proposed Arab Israeli Middle East Peace Deal there could soon be the Covenant of the Antichrist or the Beast or he that causes abomination with Israel and others that could confirm some of the elements of Trump's or previous proposed Middle East peace deals. According to the main statement of the Middle East peace deal of the Antichrist in Daniel 9:27 a main element of that peace deal will be permission for Israel to build their third Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. This temple in the 1st half of the tribulation would feature Levitical priesthood worship of the true God the God of the Bible including use of animal offerings for sin as commanded to Israel under the Law of Moses. By the midpoint of the 7 year tribulation or 70th week of Daniel that will start with the unveiling of this covenant or agreement by the Antichrist with Israel and other nations probably at least other Middle East nations and world powers such as the US, European Union (EU), United Nations and perhaps others such as China and Russia the Antichrist will seize control of this Jerusalem Temple Mount temple. The Antichrist will in the second half of the tribulation then sit in the holy of holies or most holy place of this temple as God and force worship of himself as God from all human inhabitants then on earth or risk being put to death by his then worldwide military government. This worldwide dictatorship of the Satanic Antichrist or beast will continue until the defeat of him by the true God in the person of God the Son Jesus Christ and the Son of God and probably the Shekinah glory of God the Father as well as holy angels and departed believers or saints from the current Church Age, Old Testament or tribulation martyrs from heaven. God through His Son Jesus Christ will then dispatch the Antichrist or Beast and his assistant the Beast out of the Land or False Prophet to the Lake of Fire and otherwise cleanse the Earth of any spirit or human who has not trusted in and yielded themselves to God through His Son Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Saviour by the time of Jesus' Second Coming. After Jesus Second Coming God through Him will establish His Kingdom visibly over all the earth centred in Jerusalem with His then fully restored earthly chosen people Israel or/or including the Jews, the true Church and the saved of the nations or Gentiles as well as holy angels and probably the Shekinah glory of God the Father. I would therefore urge you, the reader, if you haven't already done so, to as soon as possible trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour who died on the cross for our sins and rose from the dead to give us new life and a restored relationship with our Creator God so you won't be left behind on earth for the tribulation and have a following eternal tormented exisentence in the lake of fire but instead be taken in the rapture or catching up to heaven with the true Church or Called out (from the world or from all nations) heavenly people of the true God and then be able to reign with God and His Son Jesus Christ in His Millennial or Messianic Kingdom on earth after Jesus' Second Coming and probably with Him in the New Jerusalem forever after the Millennial Kingdom by God's grace through Jesus.

July 2018 Israeli Parliment (Knesset) Passes Israel Nationality Bill Establishing Jewish Identity as Part of Basic Law in Israel

On Wednesday, July 18th, 2018 the Israeli Parliament (Knesset) passed by a somewhat narrow majority the Israel Nationality Law to amend the basic law of the restored state of Israel. This bill essentially confirms the nationalist Zionist vision of some of Israel's founders like Theodore Herzl and David Ben Gurion and others as a Jewish state. This vision of a Jewish state of Israel is one where Jews from all over the world could come and live in peace from persecution. They were persecuted in other countries where they were not the majority such as in some European or other nations in World War 2 by the Nazis or before by other anti-semitic people or movements. Among other things this bill affirms such Jewish cultural aspects for the state of Israel as Israel to be the only official language of Israel with Arabic perhaps dropping from an official language to just having special status. Also the Hebrew lunar calendar becomes formally the official calendar of Israel and the Israeli flag with the Star of David and national anthem Ha Tikva or The Hope (of a restored Jewish state of Israel) becomes the official national anthem. This Nationality Law also affirms that all of Jerusalem including so-called East Jerusalem where all of the Old City of Jerusalem including the Western Wall and Temple Mount are recognized as the capital of a mainly Jewish nation of Israel. The Nationality Law also affirms as part of the amended basic law of Israel the right of Jews from all over the world to settle in Israel as a predominantly Jewish state. The vote in the Knesset that approved this Nationality Law out of about 120 members overall was about 62 in favour to 55 against with probably a couple abstained votes. The votes in favour were mostly from nationist Members of the Knesset in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's coalition government. This was particularly from his Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's own Likud Party and the Jewish Home Party of Naphtali Bennett as well as from mostly other members or parties of his coalition. The opposition was mostly from the more left wing or liberal parties in Israel's government such as the Zionist Union Party (formerly Labour Party) led up to recently by Itzak Herzok, the very secular Meretz Party and probably from most of the centrist but sometimes more left-wing party of Yair Lapid called Yesh Atid as well as from the Joint Arab List which is the main party representing the Arabs of Israel.

July 2018 World Reaction to Israel Passing the Nationality Bill to Affirm Israel as a Jewish State

Of course the passing of this law was not welcomed by everyone else in the world especially from more nations or groups of nations usually not sympathetic to Israel as a home of Jewish people in general. For instance there was a response article after its passing by the generally more liberal American newspaper The New York Times with the title Israel Picks Identity Over Democracy. More Nations May Follow. The article basically says there was an intention and general belief of authorities in the internatial community in the 20th century and continuing in the early part of this century. This intention was that there could be nation states where there would be democracy and identity of its contained people but with a preference for a homogenious people from different backgrounds and less emphasis on identity than democracy or conforming to national values. This was more or less working when nations were ethnically more homogenious before World War 2. However as the article mentions became more difficult when Europe gave up most of its colonies after World War 2 in Africa, Asia and some in Latin America and significant numbers of people from those colonies came to their former colonial parent country in Europe. The New York Times gives the example of the many mostly Muslim Algerian Arabs that came to France after Algeria obtained independence from France in the early 1960s. Although this made it somewhat more difficult to maintain united people and values in some European or other nations the article suggested it was manageable for a while. However there is even more emphasis in seeking identity such as now with the Arab Spring and more nationalism or seeking identity including rights to practice their religions more in traditionally secular or nominally Christian European or other Western countries. This has led to increased strife between conservative and liberal supporters and decreased support for democracy in favour of identity. The recent unscreened mass migration from Africa and mostly West Asia to Europe or from Latin America to United States has intensified this conflict and favour of identity over democracy in Europe and North America. Islamic terrorism or fundamentalism has also led to increased favour of Islamic identity over democracy in many majority Islamic nations. The New York Times article was expressing concern that Israel's actions of passing its Nationality Law would be part of or contribute to that. Although this might be partly true but from a biblical Christian and Christian Zionist perspective such as I and other dispensationalist or other evangelical Christians who take God's word the Holy Bible more literally in context Israel is a special example of a nation.

We believe based on God's word the Holy Bible that Israel is not a nation like other nations because the One true and living God the God of the Bible the LORD or Jehovah and His word - the Holy Bible. The LORD or Jehovah or Yahweh or in Jewish HaShem comprises especially God the Father but all of God the Father, God the Son or the Son of God Jesus Christ (Jesus meaning Jehovah is salvation of God the Father through His Son Jesus Christ) and God the Holy Spirit. This true triune God about 4000 years ago established a covenant through Abraham and his physical descendents the Jews through Abraham's son Isaac and grandson Jacob for them to be His chosen earthly people perpetually. Part of God's design for Israel was that they would be a witness of Him to all other nations of the world and that He would give them the land of Israel formerly of the idolatrous and immoral Canaanites between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea. This land of Israel was the land God gave to the Israelites as their promised land by an unconditional covenant to the Jews through their fathers or ancestors Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Israel). The true God did not give a particular promised land on earth by covenant to any other nation on earth or their founder in a similiar way including not even the United States in the same way as to Israel. We as evangelical Christian who support Israel as God's chosen earthly people believe that this Nationality Bill is a continuation of the true God the God of the Bible carrying out His plan in His word and prophecies there to restore Israel both physically and spiritually. (This spiritual restoration includes fuller belief in Jesus or Y'Shua as their true Messiah or Redeemer as well as for all other nations and one who paid for our sins.) This restoration of Israel by God is in preparation for God ruling the world through fully restored Israel and the restored of the nations and the true Church after Jesus' second coming in glory from heaven with His true Church. This second coming in glory from heaven of the Lord Jesus Christ (Messiah) will be at the end of the soon coming tribulation to establish God's visible Kingdom over all the Earth. This Kingdom will be ruled from Jerusalem and especially the then rebuilt Jewish temple on the Temple Mount there as mentioned in Ezekiel 40-48, Isaiah 2, Isaiah 56:6-7, Matthew 23:37-39, Psalm 118 etc.

We as bible believing Christians believe the true Church is a people comprised of Jews and Gentiles called out from all nations to God through His Son Jesus Christ to receive God through receiving His Son Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Saviour. We believe receiving Jesus involves trusting Jesus that He is the One who died for all our sins on the cross and rose again to give us new eternal life and a restored relationship with God as His spiritual or heavenly people. We as Bible believing Christians however also believe what will happen next in this world with God's dealing will be the completion of God calling out His Church from among all nations on Earth and taking all genuine believers in Jesus to heaven in new eternal spiritual bodies. Then God will allow the revelation of the Antichrist or Man of Sin (the devil's counterfeit for Jesus as the Annointed One of God) to make a covenant or peace agreement with Israel and probably the Arabs and the whole world. This false peace covenant or agreement will include allowing Israel to build their next Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. However half way through the 7 year tribulation or 70th week of Daniel chapter 9 the Antichrist or he who makes abomination in Daniel 9:27 will break that covenant with Israel. The Antichrist will then forcibly put himself in that temple to be worshipped by all the people left in the world by compulsion. If people on earth in the second 3 1/2 year half of the tribulation don't worship the Antichrist (and Satan or Lucifer the devil) they would risk being killed by his anti-christian and in the second half of the tribulation anti-semitic government. The Antichrist and his government will only be defeated when the Lord Jesus Christ comes from heaven and supernaturally defeats him. The Lord Jesus will also thus defeat those allied (Revelation 19 and Zechariah 14 for example) to the antichrist or still against the true God and His Son Jesus Christ and establish the Kingdom over all the earth of the true God and it will be based in Jerusalem. All these Bible prophecies that are on the verge of being fulfilled in a larger way are ignored by people including politicans of secular or other non-Christian or non-Jewish religious backgrounds.

The European Union said about Israel passing this Nationality Law that it was concerned about it and that they considered it allowed only Jews (and not Palestinians (Arabs)) determine the future of the land of Israel. They also said it would be contrary to the fulfillment for an Israeli-Palestinian Peace as set out in the Two State Solution plan based on the Oslo Accords of former Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin with former Palestinian Arab leader Yasser Arafat in the mid 1990s. EU foreign affairs leader Federica Mogherini said at a press conference in regards to the National Law of Israel according to an article in YNET news: "We are concerned, we have expressed this concern and we will continue to engage with Israeli authorities in this context". EU Foreign Affairs Leader Mogherini also said on this matter: "We've been very clear when it comes to the two-state solution, we believe it is the only way forward and any step that would further complicate or prevent this solution of becoming a reality should be avoided." The United States about a week after the Nationality Law of Israel was passed was asked to comment on it by some of the media. At a press conference of State Department spokewoman Heather Nauert some in the media asked her about the Israel Nationality Law and whether the law might "make some citizens of Israel less equal than others". The White House spokeswoman Nauert replied: "We hesitate to answer questions about other countries' legislation." She went on to say: "We are certain aware of that new law. I'd have to refer you to the Government of Israel for the specifics of that law and their position on that, but I can tell you as a general matter and as it pertains to this that we believe in equality of all persons before the law." Some of the media then asked her whether she thought is would weaken democracy in Israel to which she replied: "I'm not going to comment on that. That would be a question for Israelis." What she and President Trump and their Republic Party led government are trying to do in this matter and generally in their handling of foreign policy in the Middle East especially is to keep a balance to consider both the desires for a secular and multi-cultural settlement to the Middle East conflict and the social conservative supporters. These social conservative supporters include evangelical Christian, some traditional Roman Catholic and Orthodox Jewish elements that strongly support Israel including their claim to the land of Israel as a Jewish land including Jerusalem and the Temple Mount based on God's covenant in the Bible with Israel's founders Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Israel) in Genesis 12, 15, 17, 22, 26, 28 etc.

The passing of the Israel Nationality Law was severely criticized by Arab and Muslim leaders. For instance PLO Secretary-General Saeb Erekat said: "The law aims at destroying the two-state solution and replacing it with an apartheid regime." He accused the United States of being a "full accomplice" in the law which Mr. Erekat described as a tool of the US under President Trump Middle East peace policy "Deal of the Century". Mr. Erekat also called the Israel Nationality Law "a racist and politically blind law." Mr. Riyad Mansour the Palestinian Authority delegate at the UN met with the legal department of the UN General Assembly in response to Israel passing the Nationality law Mr. Erekat mentioned. Mr. Erekat also said "The Israeli occupation, war crimes and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people in the Palestinian territories is going to fail eventually." The Jordanian foreign minister Ayman Safadi critized the passed Israeli Nationality Law as discriminatory saying: "Israeli Knesset adoption of "nation state" bill consolidates discrimination. It is a violation of international law, human rights. It is an act that will further fuel tension. International community must stand against it as yet another measure that threatens security, stability." A representative for Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan slammed Israel regarding its passing the Nationality Law and stated Turkey supports the Palestinian Authority. A day after Israel passed its Nationality Law Ibrahim Kalin a spokesman for Turkish president Erdogan said the new Israeli law helps make Israel "an apartheid state". Mr. Kalin said: "We reject the decision to proclaim Jerusalem as the capital of Israel ... as well as the decisions to create new settlements aimed at the systematic stripping of Palestinians from their land, and the Israel government's attempts to establish an apartheid state." Mr. Kalin also stated: "We condemn in the strongest form the Nationality Law, which was ratified today in the Israeli parliament. This racist step, which represents at attempt to wipe the Palestinian people out of their motherland, not only materially but also legal, cannot be accepted in any way." Mr. Kalin also urged the international community to "take a stand" against the Israeli Nationality Law. Lastly Mr. Kalin said in this regard: "The Republic of Turkey reaffirms its determinatin to protect the rights of the brotherly and friendly Palestinian people emanating from international law, and we call upon the international community to take a stand against this injustice, which is taking place in the eyes of the whole world." An Arab League spokesman said about the Nationality Law of Israel: "All the bills Israel is trying to forcibly enforce are null and will not give any legitimacy to the Israeli occupation". The Arab League went on to say: "The approval of the controversial bill is another bid to cement the 'occupation of Palestinian territories' and wriggle out from recognizing Palestinian rights." The Arab League also gave alarm that the bill will ignite discrimation and more attacks against Palestinians, and urged the international community to shoulder its responsibilities towards Palestinians and hold Israel accountable for all crimes and violations against Palestinians."

All these things are happening with further increasing strife with more biblical or conservative Israeli Jews and secular or non-Christian western and Muslim and other non-Christian nations or leaders. This increasing polarization or disparity will probably lead soon to the Antichrist coming on the world stage to offer or confirm a Middle East and maybe false world peace after the rapture or taking to heaven of the Church. In view of all this I would urge the reader to be prepared for these events to fully happen very soon. To be prepared I would urge the reader, if you haven't already done so, to admit you are a sinner in God's sight according to His word the Holy Bible and pray to the true God through His Son Jesus Christ to get a restored relation with God. This restored relation with God is through receiving His Son Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour Who died on the cross just outside Jerusalem about 2000 years ago for all our sins and rose from the dead the third day later to offer us God's eternal resurrection life and new nature. This new nature in Christ is empowered by God's come to indwell our hearts Holy Spirit when we trust in Jesus. If we have trusted in Jesus before the rapture of the Church and revelation of the Antichrist and his false peace with Israel and the nations we will be taken to heaven at the rapture of the Church as in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 and John 14:1-3 and 1 Corinthians 15:51-58 and will not be left behind for the devil's rule through his man the Antichrist and God's judgments on the world then. If we who belong to God through His Son Jesus Christ including you the reader if you have already have done this or do it before the rapture of the Church we will come at the end of the 7 year tribulation from heaven with Jesus (and the holy angels and the glory of God the Father and the true Church) to judge the world and set up God's Kingdom on earth for 1000 years and then on a new earth and new heavens and new Jerusalem for ever. If you trust in Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour especially before the rapture of the Church and following tribulation on earth you can also be assured you won't have to worry about spending eternity or any time in hell or the lake of fire for our sins Revelation 20:11-15. This is because, for those who trust in the true God of the Bible now through His Son Jesus Christ, all our sins were judged and paid for by Jesus on the cross in God the Father's sight and we as Christians covered by Jesus' divine and sinless blood won't have to bear our own sins forever in the lake of fire.
